Ode To Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton held her head high
when losing both the Presidential elections
she graciously stepped aside.
She more than qualified for all held positions.
Such as counselor in her jurisdiction. 
And as First Lady of the Nation
she deserves a standing ovation.
As Senator of New York
she proudly held the torch
for that we have no remorse.
Diligently served as president Obama's
Secretary of State.
With whom no other traveled at her rate.
She won the popular vote so winning
the 2016 election was no laughing joke.

You did a fine job on your poem, Michael. I wish Hillary could read it; the poem would lift her spirits. Congratulations on your win!

Anyway, I hear all these bad things about her that taint her, and I honestly do not know what to think. I DO think that the way your wrote this poem was awesome!
