Ode To a Rose

Sweet rose,my eyes do not believe
the vision that they now perceive,
Around the corner I did come,
along the path, toward my home,
When, looking up, I met a sight,
that filled my heart with pure delight,
Your beauty caught me in it's grasp,
now, I can only look and gasp,
For you were created, oh, loveliest flower,
within mother nature's most finest hour!.
