Ode On a Broken Vending Machine

You say you are out of order No matter how much I put in to you You have nothing you can give You used to give me my sweetest desires And offer me cold drink When the day was hot Even on days when I chose wrong I knew it was not your fault but mine And I knew I always had another day to make a better choice Some days I pushed your buttons And nothing happened Other days and the right buttons Made the best of you appear But for today There is no button I can push No amount of violent shaking That will repair what is broken I will wait patiently for the arrival Of the one who can fix you And return you to me With haste

Hello Erin Conwart, some people will break the vending machine because they could not get their snack. Some people get angry at the machine when the money goes into it but their choice dose not appear. Enjoy your evening my fiend

Thank you Jan. Most of my writing is pretty heavy so this is the first attempt I have ever made at humor. I laughed at myself as I was writing it actually. I enjoyed it and may have to try again. Being serious all the time is kind of a bummer!
