Oddly, Life

Oddly, Life How swiftly moves the time when life is so sublime! But soon the hours grow cold Our movements become old. Much better is our worth when slender is the girth. We skip hop jump with joy, such exercise employs. But time we know rolls on with the ringing of the gong, where new insight is the prize life sets before our eyes. How overwhelming is the view when things owed will come due! Oddly some live long enough to collect their missing stuff. 9/8/20 A Lipogram' Poetry Contest Emile Pinet, Sponsor
