Odd Calls From Odd People

"Hello!". In answer to the phone

Caller:"What you doing?"

Me:"I'm working"."What about you?"

Caller:"Same old thing, this isn't Pumpkin is it?"

Me:"No, this isn't Pumpkin, never been called Pumpkin.
She must have changed her number
for I have been getting these calls from
strangers off and on. This is a new number for me
and apparently it did belong to Pumpkin."

Caller:"Sorry, I didn't think this was Pumpkin."

(Several calls from strangers since I got a new cell phone #..)

Thanks for commenting on my poetry, cute poem, delightful to read, I used to get calls for a person who owed money to everyone in the city.. how annoying was that.. and no matter what I said they called back, so I changed my number. to get some peace.. Love Constance
