Odd and Odder

The fact that Jesus was a Jew
may seem odd to quite a few

Then eight days after Christmas, how about this
~ January first, New Year's Day, was his bris *

_______________________________
*'bris mila,' which literally means 'cov-
enant of the foreskin,' is the Hebrew
term for a Jewish ritual circumcision.
It is performed on the eighth day of a
baby boy's life. Jesus' bris, therefore,
was on the 1st of January.

Your "Odd and Odder" is a wonderful write. Few words with much said. I am amazed how many people do not know Jesus was a Jew. Have a blessed day/week.....................

It doesn't seem odd at all to me, I see Him as many things, and multi, faithed, beautiful penmanship, you make Jesus shine here, :)

They do not know much about Jesus if they do not know he was Jewish.

It never seemed strange to me that Jesus was a Jew, gw. It seemed pretty natural that he would follow in the pathways of his ancestors. Thanks for the remembrance. I gather no boy remembers his bris mila, right?

Not unless his hippocampus is fully developed at eight days.
