October's Chill

The pond is quiet today
Bull frogs have had their last harrumph
The hum of the insects is gone
No dragonflies tease the wind
October’s chill hovers in the trees
An Osprey circles

The Osprey in the poem resides high in a tree near the pond where I kayak. The osprey and I would be honored to have it shared with your photos.
