October Tanka

finally!    He’s home
candy bag on the table
he empties it out
sugar content enormous!
and    with one brown    crinkled leaf

cool    just a light frost
and the goblins are playing
for it’s Halloween
my doorbell rings    No one there
smell of sulfur in the air

great tanka, I really liked that first one with the crazy leaf in the mix!! so it's cold there , huh. We were around 50. Not great. but not bad either! Luv, andrea

I can hardly wait! Re you comment - Yes! He played upon the fact that they said he was in league with the Devil - Dressing in black - pale skin and no teeth. He said " I am not good looking, but when the women hear me paly, they fall at my feet. Love, Lainie
