October Skies
You left me under dark October skies,
My spirits crushed, like fragile autumn leaves,
The naked trees exposed your barren lies
But love came by, this heart no longer grieves.
My spirits crushed, like fragile autumn leaves,
You caused me so much suffering and pain,
But love came by, this heart no longer grieves,
The seasons change and sunshine followed rain.
You caused me so much suffering and pain,
The naked trees exposed your barren lies.
The seasons change and sunshine followed rain:
You left me under dark October skies.
