October Blizzard

In the middle of Fall while the leaves are still changing,
A winter storm makes a surprise appearance,
leaving reminders of winter everywhere,
The snow covered grounds and the howling
winds, fast forward lives into winter's desolate
feeling,

Darkness looms from the old trees that succumbed
to the stormy weather, cancelling Holloween and
good times,

Commuting has become gnarly,
Residential neighborhoods display destroyed properties,
and all are let in awe from October's Blizzard which only
happens once in a blue moon.
