Ocean Waves At Sunrise

Light in her angel eyes, shines innocence, sweet and pure Glistening ocean waves at sunrise not subtle but audacious Pools of light reflect the truth when her words do not assure Irises full of gold flecks and green, the sun and sea engage us Eyes of wonder enlightened more by her precocious smile Secrets concealed beneath their splendor, sensitive and vivacious Compassionate heart, a smile given to comfort those with trials Questioning mind, mature and wise trying to right all wrongs A friendly girl, her gracious eyes invite others to stay a while Beautiful girl of nine years, do not relinquish youth for fear Your ocean soul flows through your eyes, infinite and free The light of the Lord will shine on you and dry every flowing tear Ocean waves at sunrise, your soul will always be a beacon of light ~ Shining through your eyes for all to see By Rhonda Johnson-Saunders For my niece, Lili Second Place in Your Own Favorite Contest February 2012 Sponsor: Debbie Guzzi

Glad you liked it!! Are you a Floridian, too? I love New Smyrna Beach. I took a weekend trip to Sanibel two weeks ago. We have so many great beaches. I take it for granted at times. Thanks for the comments! Blessings, Rhonda
