Ocean Crystal

Of fathoms far below the surface of time
Crystalline white on the surf you roll ‘n slide
Enduring realms, onyx-deep, where pressures climb,
a glittering dust astride current ‘n tide
Navy lolls where you’re the star in sapphire’s prime
Close to shallows, on aquamarine you glide
Resplendent diamond sparkling on sunny seas
Your quartzy pinks salt a Himalayan breeze!

I thought about Himalayan pink salt that is sold in stores nowadays. Strange what a work can bring to mind. Way to go with this winner. Congratulations. Sara

Oh, so you, too, are a Californian! Hurrah! Smiling is a hallmark of Californians! I go to other states, and miss those smiles. Such outstanding imagery, Susan! Hugs, Pangie xx

Thank you Pangie Yea I’ve resided here since ‘96 and the state has grown on me though it’s so beautifully diverse that it isn’t hard to fall in love with all it has to offer, nature-wise :)

Hi Susan, yes we're very cooler than Sacramento, most!y in the mid teens c. With the odd shower too. I also love your fav singers too especial!y Linda Ronstadt, being one the great country trio with Dolly Patron and Emmylou Harris. I thought you loved in Fiji but obviously you are in California. Have a great day, Gordon
