Ocean
Oceans' august waves, born when time began,
peaceful, serene as they whisper to land.
Caressing sand, a gift of starfish shells,
their music heard, a concerto of swells.
Stormy, jet black seascapes, blustery nights;
Ships and storms eclipsing in epic fights.
Neptune roused to lead his bold, thrashing tide,
lives on the line, nightmares riding astride.
Oceans' ebb and flow present in our lives.
Emotions spill like angry, disturbed hives.
When skies meditate with warm, gentled sun,
passions are softened, Ocean's songs are sung.
