Ocean

I sit on a rock
Looking faraway
Where the ocean meets the sky
Forming a huge circle

I hear 
The sand gently
Lapped by waves

A gull flies by
Glancing at me with a smile
Seeming to say
Isn’t ocean vast and beautiful?
