Here at bedtime
Droopy eyelids fall;
Dropping into limbo

Sleepy hollow
Falling into void;
Soul journeys start

Windy gust
Midnight street;
Empty of noise

Lights out
Dark floods rest;
Sleep blankets

Church pew
Solemn prayers;
God knows best

By that door
My heart waits;
Love intervenes

Wordplay
Work day;
Come what may

Love calls
Answer now;
Don't be late
