Obscured Vision

The bend in the path through the autumn woods Obscures my vision to what lies ahead Brilliant colors of fall's leaves so good Beauty that surrounds doesn't stop the dread What is beyond the road's bend veiled from sight There's no way I can know for its concealed 'Pon each step God gives me just enough light Going forward despite my fright eyes peeled God always supplied my needs plus some wants He's always furnished enough shining light I now need His presence to smooth away daunts And give extra grace to get good insights The bend in road could be smooth or rocky Help, Lord, in aging not to be gawky

Hi Sara, What an excellent poem portraying the beauty of an AUTUMN SEASON - don't worry what is around the bend, it is what it is, I'm certain still beautiful, do we know what the bend of tomorrow will be, it is already destined for us, acceptance is paramount in one's life. I LOVE YOUR POEM and curved my thinking about a bend the same as i think what will tomorrow bring us. I am off and on Soup dear friend as I am able, but think of you often. Hugs and love Jennifer.

Thank you, Jennifer, for the thoughts. Yes, that bend in the road if I was out walking would be toward the end of my daily journey before heading home, if a bend in road about life decisions, then it might be even harder, and lastly when it comes to the end of life's journey then somewhat harder. I appreciate the visit and kind review. Sara K
