Oblivion

OBLIVION I would be better off if I kept my mouth shut but my burning lips open to reveal waterfalls of guilty smut I have a lot to say but will leave it to those who have the ability to expose their complaints better than I can Can I? Expose my complaints…… Sickening pessimistic hypocritical masters Conservative communist apocalyptic bastards Living in a sublime society who have sucked and f ****d up rehashing daily their greed paving paths to hell knowing this---no amount of effort can save my starving soul from carefully constructed OBLIVION © Kim van Breda—1 October 2014

With your passion oblivion would banish you, the status quo fears you, and your influence upon the hearts you encounter keeps you a conspicuous force of excitment Kim..."Consrrvative, communistic, apocalyptic bastards.." remarkably accurate statement! J.A.B.

Hi There Mr. Justin A. Bordner. Thank you kindly for your intelligent, accurate, genuine and retrospective comments on my poems. Yes... I was very angry when I wrote this, but make no excuses. I write to get the emotions out.... oblivion being the metaphor :)

I appreciate your honesty. I try my best to be as genuine as I can when I leave feedback for people - for that's what I'd like others to do for me! There are pieces that I have written as well when in my darker moods that I don't show people. I suppose it's my vanity of having an "image to protect"... only human after all.

Wow, Kim... where did this come from?? A lot of rage in this piece... never would have expected coming from you. I can relate to the feelings, however... topics of war makes my blood boil. If it gets too much to handle it's important to remember that the world is full of darkness... but that darkness doesn't have to come from inside us.

Thanks for stopping by to read and comment Tim. You too, are a very observant interpreter and take time to post meaningful comments. Thank you. Yes.... well.... this particular poem I was in a very dark mood and on top of that it was the week that ISIS were beheading all those innocent children who would not conform to their ways. After posting, I was tempted to remove it, but then thought, I would not be true to myself if I just posted the poems that I thought others thought was the "me" that I am not all the time. Unfortunately, as I am sure you are well aware, every now and then the darkness seeps into us from the outside. Have a blessed Sunday Xx~Xx
