Oblivion

I’ve forgotten my dreams
In all that grass,
And my sleep grew around them….
I’ve forgotten my walk toward
Your house…
And now another walks upon it…
I’ve forgotten my breath
In the water…
Along came he
And took it away again…
I’ve forgotten my voice
In all that silence…
And you’re nothing
But noise inside my head.
I’ve forgotten this twilight
In the dark…
And our sun shines no more.
I’ve forgotten that I
Cannot forget
And I’m oblivious
To another love or
Another life of self…
