Obliterated Truth
Obliterated Truth
My Soapbox sermon
For 2/7/2018
Written: by Tom Wright
We live in a world steeped in moral decay,
Where negative stories are birthed each day;
Pundits routinely, with their words permeate,
Bloviating schlemiels sowing schism and hate;
We’re counted as sheep undeserving of any say,
Regarding what’s important in life each day.
We elect from our midst the best we can find,
But once in office we disappear from their mind.
Each spins their story never considering cost,
And in a plethora of words truth, often is lost.
But I’m assured of one place where I still have say,
Godly prayer changes things, and Jesus is the way.
