Obey the Speed Limit

The speed limit on this street is twenty-five miles per hour. When you exceed it, it turns our sweet disposition sour. In the morning and afternoon, they walk this way to school. Your careless speeding will make you look like a fool. Here is an intersection where our young children cross. Having your vehicle strike them would be a great loss. Our children are too young to be placed in a grave. It is their lives that we want to save.

A great poem with an essential message...the last two lines are a devastating stark reality with a positive plea. Important subject...well written. blessings, lynn
