Oath Most Ambiguous

Do you swear to tell the truth,
the whole truth ...
Nothing but the truth?

Yes, possibly
Probably
Maybe
Perhaps

A liar’s truth
is always questionable at best
At worst, very ambiguous

Their philosophical truth salad
is tossed blue in the gray
Your foggy evening twilight
is their misty dawn day

A liar’s truth
is always ambiguous at best
At worst, a needed lie detector test

A lovely poem... but when the truth has been a lie, and a lie, has been a truth, and truth and lies are words use conveniently to rob and abuse...We need to find another word... All the best Freddie
