Was contemplating high noon Neither one nor the other A fulcrum that holds up the day The morning bright With hope and light The evening ,as always holds sway In the brightest light Shadow will be found As possibility Pours out on the ground Who will live to see the day The sun at high noon ,it does not say

I really like the layers of meaning here, Vickey, especially 'possibility pours out on the ground' - the balance of shadow and light is caught so skillfully - just wondering about the title, does it refer to horses?
