Oh mighty oak
Keeping warm beneath your cloak of ivy
Raise your many fingered limbs once more unto the grey sky
Beseech the sun to return

Lovely vision. There is always an old oak in peoples lives. There is one particular that i use as a sanctuary. Thaks for sharing

I love this poem, I love trees, my home is surrounded with maples and oak trees. and in the summer I am nestled in the cloak of leaves.. wonderful write.. Constance
