O Fairest Love

O fairest love
how wait the hours
till sunlight lights your face
how stars across the heavens fly
to be within thy gaze

O fairest love
how long I wait
to chance thy passing near
to watch as butterflies flock to thee
to whisper in thy ear

O fairest love
I pray that thee
when passing near one day
might come inside and sit with me
and talk of come what may

O fairest love
if it might be
that one day you may find
this love who sits and waits for thee
and loves you in his mind

So sweet and romantic, tender and loving- all at the same time. As butterflies caress the skin. Flutter-by moments of bliss. Linger indeed. My heart is smiling. :) Brandy
