I kept trying to recall what a bellwort was but your poem says it all. Who on earth named such a beautiful poem such an awful name, probably Mr. Bellwort

Makes me think of little boys in choir robes with their little mouths open, wait, what were we talking about? Oh yes, bells ringing, flowers singing, it's Christmas time, ding-dong, wait wrong season- man let me back outta here, before I really engage my brain-:))-AA

A delightful, uplifting haiku, James! Many flowers have a sort of "bell" shape to them and when I was a child I used to try to make them ring. Funny the things you remember... Great work! Love, Carolyn
