Numb to the feeling

When I first felt depression I thought I was just really sad And I cried a lot Because I was sad When I noticed depression again I thought I was just really sad, again So I cried it off Because I was sad When I realized the depression didn’t leave I thought, I must be very sad then So I cried every day and night Because I was sad Then I knew depression would never leave I knew that i’m not just very sad And I barely even cried anymore Because I got numb to the feeling I knew the depression is mine My depression made me sad But it also stopped me from crying Because I got numb to the feeling

like how you are channeling the darkness - hard but there is a cathartic element to this however obscure

When any heart contraction arises, we can look at it noticing that it is felt by mind-body, which no doubt we ensoul but which we are not. Witnessing thus in nonchalance, we cease feeding the vibration that appeared in our awareness. In time, all such negativity disappears. Having said that, it’s best to consult a doctor in case it relates to hormones ~ prolactin or some other. Meditation always helps.
