Nowhere Near
You said you loved me,
But you didn't call.
You said you cared for me,
But you never showed it.
You said these things,
But did you mean them?
You said you would always be here for me.
Where were you when I needed you the most?
When I looked down,
And found out the truth.
Where were you when my life changed?
Nowhere near.
After screaming your name.
At the top of my lungs.
You were nowhere near.
You were NEVER anywhere near.
