Now What

Every day is a fight it always ends in war.

I remember all of the broken dreams that you promised me before.

Now I am cracked far beyond repair.

my feelings I once told you but now I wouldn't dare.

All the words once spoken now I wouldn't say

you are working on yourself but you are pushing me away

You told me that you needed me- I was a gift from up above,

why is it if you need me that I don't feel any love?

You tell me just to trust you and love will set me free,

I see you getting better but what's happening to me?

So I am just alone, me myself and I,

I try to focus on all of the good but all I do is cry.

Tears for what we once had and some for what could have been,

I plea for you to care for me but you think that I am being mean.

This must be what love is- I wish it wasn't true.

I hope that you can believe in me because I will always believe in you.
