Even though He knew each soul Before they left the womb He doesn’t stop them from exploring Despite mistakes and disappointments He lets them learn and grow and become The unique, one of a kind He created Them to be – Even though He is more powerful Than words can possibly reveal, He still allows us the freedom To choose, decide, select Whatever might seem the best to us Despite the doubts and stress, He gives us the opportunity To make each choice, with faith Even though He could have said “I told you so” so very many times He doesn’t try to make us feel less For those times when our choices Brought confusion and doubt, Darkness that shadows even the light That comes from knowing the love Brought to life by the hope and faith The sweet grace that silences Every fear and wipes away every tear Even though we make mistakes And long for that second chance He never fails to provide a way – Through the Son, in whose name We pray Now that we are here and He’s so near There is no doubt about the wonderful Way He made so that we are free Even when we can’t find the words To say, “thank You”… He listens and hears and answers Despite all our flaws and failures He is the reason I can know that my life Has a reason, a meaning, a secret… Within the soul who He knew even before I came into this world to learn what it is To follow the Lord who is purely love! I so adore Him!

A lovely poem Regina. Oh I am so glad He doesn't ever say "I told you so" Your faith illuminates the pages, as your poetry is read. This one stuck me particularly, its really wise and beautiful.
