Oh My Gosh! I wish I had your talent. This poem is wonderful. I forgot about some of those shows and dating myself to say I remember them (: Was there anyone as smooth as Fred Astaire? I'm going to rent Mary Poppins now. I loved the opening to Dick Van Dyke's show. Remember how he tripped on the stairs as the program started? Mary Tyler Moore lived near me in Ct. TV isn't worth turning on now. AWW in the words of Archie Bunker's song, "Those were the days"

Hello Gershon … those were the days when some of these shows kept me home and off the streets. Nowadays; very few would - thank you Gershon - Lindsay

Wow, you've summed up all the shows I remember from long ago and loved so much. Goodnight, Gershon!
