Now and Then, Again

Listen to poem:
How often a story ends, amen but embers get revived. Just when attention shifts and talk wanes and subsides Up pops a little 'and then' An off we go again. How often 'then' marks a turnabout A sneaky unexpected kiss A spiel for some new deal A U-turn or swing around So beware and prepare For yin yang, flips and flops Now and then, again.
