Notice of Bereavement

Dear Poetry Soup Members,
My dear husband passed away peacefully in his sleep July 29th at home. We were together over forty years. My daughters are here to help and comfort me. My husband wanted no service but military honors. He served four years in the army in military intelligence (MI). Please forgive me if I am slow to respond to your wonderful sentiments and comments on my poetry. Love and blessings, Connie

I’m very busy over the holidays making out Christmas cards and getting my gifts for friends and family ready to mail. I just don’t have any inspiration to write any new poems. The Veteran service they gave him was very nice. They blew the bugle and had the flag folding which was presented to me. From the top of the hill side where Punch bowl military cemetery is you can see his high school down below. It is beautiful there. We are all missing him but doing well. Thank you. Blessings xxoo
