Nothing Personal

Boos echo in the canyons of our ears
      Jeers vibrate like cymbals

   Performers mistake them to heart

Though they merely honor the primal urges
of raspy voices, of bellows-like lungs

Interesting poem. It must take a lot of guts to be a performer.
