Nothing Beyond God

Beyond my love for astronomy And endless yearnings for space, Is this insurmountable curiosity To behold the Creator's face. Though very much given to arts And the knowledge of science, But never will folly's subtle darts Hit the bull's eye of my conscience! For the sun, the moon, the stars, And all beyond my very eyes, Can never tell all of the wonders Unfathomable of Him who never dies! In me, nothing can replace GOD —Not even if I had the whole world!
