Nothing

when i fail myself
it came to the end
frightened friend
not ever knowing
concerned not of
your miss fortune
drug addicted smell
borrowed cell
a number called
no one answers at all
far out of reason
low self esteem
running out of life
so the only thing
i ever did right
was fail myself tonight
blurred eyes don't lie
it does race through
my veins through the
stream of my consciousness
to what i have and hold
self nothing i need nothing
we read nothing has
failed me
