Note To Self

Don't let other people
Influence the decisions you make
Don't let other people's opinions
Hinder the risks that you take

Other people are not for you
They won't be there in the end
If they're not happy for you now
They won't be happy when you win

They don't want you to have joy
They only like when you're in pain
They want you to be like them
They want everyone to be the same

Not doing much
Same life, living low
No future, no aspirations,
No ambition, no goals

If you want to be different
You have to set yourself apart
You may hear their words
But don't take them to heart

Rise above the hatred
You know who you are;
You exceed expectations.
Note to self, you're a star.
