“Not Yet”
Not yet able to hear your voice but yet able to read your words
Not yet able to hear your laughter yet able to imagine your smile
Not yet able to smell your aroma yet able to imagine your scent
Not yet able to see your smile yet able to imagine your kiss
Not yet able to feel your soft skin yet able to dream of holding you
Not yet able to to taste your lips yet able to imagine parting them
Not yet able to see your body yet able to control the urge to kiss it
Not yet able to stare into your eyes yet able to see their beauty
Not yet able to caress your face yet able to see your youth
Not yet able to tickle your sides yet able to imagine your laughter
Not yet able to lie you down next to me yet able to vision sunny skies
Not yet able to speak of tomorrow yet able to imagine you in my arms
Not yet able to believe in your intentions yet able to hide my own
Not yet able to worship your body yet able to dream of romantic nights
Not yet able to express my doubts yet able to erase the negative images
Not yet able to give you the moon yet able to write the romance to come
