Not Tame

Am I trapped in a game
Or just lost in my mind
I am one and the same
You can see I’m not blind

I’m not looking for fame
In those big city lights
I have put some to shame
In those big city fights

I am mixed up and jumbled
As they are the same
I’ve fought and I’ve rumbled
So I’m really not tame

As rough as a beast
That you will see
I come from the east
And I swing from a tree

I do not need a leash
I just want to be free
I am so way out of reach
I am so small I am wee

I can be quite a cretin
But I will never deprive
And I have been beaten
Though I got out alive

I have been so troubled inside
From where wounds were inflicted
Some would have curled up and died
But not me I just kicked it

As I read this I was 'rapping' it! It lends itself entirely to that style. Interesting write. Well done.
