Not My Pen For the Drum

Do all the words that I've turned? Define me to all the enemies I've earned Slowly as I ponder this I will not trade the pen for the fist Or is the real lesson to be learned Those words are for everyone to be openly discerned Once again, my poet and poetess friend A keyboard and the flick of a wrist have penned A question with no clear answer, only an open end My answer is that we simply will not succumb Never will I sheath my pen for the drum
