Not Meant To Be
Silly stupid me by golly
I just can't believe my folly!
I am just damaged way too much
To be in receipt of love as such.
Just for one second in time
I believed I could shine.
Who am I kidding?
Life around me is skidding.
Loving me is a nothing but a curse
Your heart will leave me in a hearse.
Happiness is just not meant for me.
Love, for me, not ever meant to be.
