Not Just Today, Valentines
I went to find you a gift
to show you how much I’m in love
But…
Had a hard time searching my phone wearing a glove
So I couldn’t find a dove,
or flowers I was in awe of.
I didn’t want chocolate everyone is trying to shove
or any other trinket that is unworthy of
the feelings I have for you.
So instead of finding something to buy
I’ll just stick with what I know I can do
I’ll simply stare at,
smile with,
dream of,
hug often,
kiss daily,
hold tight,
smother sometimes,
annoy frequently,
frustrate at times,
await your embrace,
and tell you I Love You with all my heart
each and every single day!
