Not Enough

Is it sex?
Or is it love?
Teach me to be a woman
Don't use a velvet glove
I want to like what you do too
But remember it's not all about you
What you give is not enough
When I complain, you're in a huff
It is all about you and not about me
This marriage is not meant to be
You will sit and wonder why
I left you for another guy
Selfish does not win at all
I had made a really bad judgement call
Now I know what love is all about
It is about sharing there is not doubt

Some guys never get it and the children's father never did Too bad for him. We all survived and are better for it. Hugs Edith

Lovely, Mama Bear. I really liked this one. If lines of communication were really open, many a marriage would thrive. Sending you lots of hugs.

Thanks for the visit. You are so right but some things are not to be. At least sometimes we survive to something better Hugs Edith
