Not Broken

I'm not broken
Just chipped in some places.
That I only I can see.
There are cracks and scars
From some one I thought
Loved me.
Only leaving me with memories
That they never loved me.
Like a puzzle piece that fell apart.
And I can't put back together,
Cause the pieces no longer fit.
Like they used too.
Glass that shattered
Like my heart
When it broke.
I had to learn how to
Put the pieces back together.
After they lefted me broken
With the pieces scattered
On the floor.
While I was losing myself
To hurt and Betrayal.
I had to learn how
To rise from the ashes
Like a Phoenix.
And fight this darkness
That wanted to take me down
With the pain I felt.
