Not Ashamed

Not Ashamed
____________________________

I'm not ashamed to just be me,
the person who, each day I see
The person in the mirrored glass
present, future and the past.

I've made mistakes along the way
and still I make some today
but I live with much more knowing
and through life, I'll still keep growing.

I'm okay with who I've became,
and for that, I can't complain
Like everyone ,I have my moments
for all the saddness,and dissapointments.

But it's in the moments, we form scars
and they make us, who we are
because we're not beyond repair
it just takes some tender care.

So, don't be ashamed of who you are
we've made it here, we've got this far
and if anything , I know this true
we're not so different, me and you.
