Not a Moment Too Soon

i was dying inside
only darkness in sight
couldn't find my way
then you showed me the light

i was crashing on down
with the stars and the moon
when you lifted me up
not a moment too soon

i walked a lonely path
got lost along the way
with a bottle in my hand
i drank away the day

i was crashing on down
with the stars and the moon
when you lifted me up
not a moment too soon

i walked away from life
didn't care anymore
nothing really mattered
till you walked through the door

i was crashing on down
with the stars and the moon
when you lifted me up
not a moment too soon
