Not a Moment
Not a moment to introspect,
At least shed a tear
Not a moment to remorse,
Or even grill the fear
Not a moment not thinking,
And yet so dazed
Not a moment for deep breath,
Not a second, I'm afraid.
Not a moment to feel,
Or sadden over a loss
Not a moment to correct
Or even act cross
Not a moment to be happy
Or acknowledge a need
Not a moment for life
Not a moment indeed.
