Not a Big Lie

You can choose to believe election fraud is all a big lie, because media tells you it is:
But, over 35,000 people attended president Trump’s rally last night
Just as the multi thousands did in marches, parades and rallies before this
All in unity, with people of different nationality, religion and status, Etc.
Numbers speak for the truth, just as witness testimony and evidence has
A brave person took the stage last night, after all the slander he has endured
Without giving up after an unfair election and every accusation imaginable
Why? Because he loves this country, its history, values, freedom and justice
All this drives him to fight so hard through all opposition without giving up
Attacked by those who transform our country into something unrecognizable

Hello Heidi, Interesting title and poem, oh how you like to stir the Soup! Who was the brave one? Doesn't take a ton of bricks hitting your head to see a country turning into a bad version of 'Animal Farm'. Some of us feel like Boxer, the hard-working & loyal horse. Sent off to the glue factory. You keep writing what you believe in, and trust your gut instinct. Always search for truth, listen to everyone's point of view. So long as they have a stake in this game called America. -Richard

Thank you for your comment and support Richard. I didn't want to stir up negativity. I just wanted to speak and express myself as I do in all my poetry with the hope that people who don't like it can ignore it. I don't like being censored in our country like it is, so my free speech is coming out in poetry. :)

Democracy is a Greek compound word which comes from Demos = people and Cratos=power thus power to the people. This political system was established in the eleventh century B.C. in Athens Greece when the King of Athens sacrificed himself to save his city. The Athenians decided that there will not be another king like him therefore decided to run the city themselves. They gave one vote to each citizen and the majority ruled even if it was a majority of one. Therefore we must respect the result, no matter if we like it or not. It is our sacred duty. Peace , please for the Good of America for the good of the world. Love dear Heidi.

In ancient times, if one committed fraud, thing impossible, he was banished from the city for ten years. I am happy you agreed. You are good Democrats!

Absolutely, Heidi, I couldn't agree with you more on this. The truth, also, always needs to be acknowledged.

Thank you for your input Demetrios. However , if there is fraud, or lack of truth, I believe it should be acknowledged. Regardless of party affiliation. :)

81,268,924 people voted to elect Joseph R. Biden president, 51.33% of the votes cast. 74,111,419 people voted to elect Donald J. Trump president, 46.96% of the votes cast. Biden received 306 Electoral Votes. Trump received 232 Electoral Votes. Joseph R. Biden won over 7 million more popular votes than Donald J. Trump...that's SEVEN MILLION more votes than Donald Trump! Over 80 cases were brought before the U. S. Courts charging voting fraud and not a single case was proven in the courts! Isn’t it time the losers stopped their whining??? How is it building up America by going around the country promoting this big lie? Poetry Soup is an international poetry forum. It is no place to be promoting this big lie!
