Not a Big Deal

It's your face I see when I close my eyes Your lips on my lips fill my dreams I can feel your hands on my body Even when I haven't see you for days. Let's not make a big deal out of it. Your smile brightens my day And your laugh makes me laugh All I want to do is be near you With no one else around. Let's not make a big deal out of it. I'm not even sure why you like me It's not like I'm exactly nice I'm always teasing you and calling you names. Let's not make a big deal out of it. I know you're just a kid in comparison Still sweet, innocent, and naive And girls like me only hurt Good guys like you. Let's not make a big deal out of it. I will just build you up Making you fly higher than ever before Until I pull you down Tearing out your heart while I rip off your wings. Let's not make a big deal out of it. So I need to keep you at a distance Making sure that you don't get to close Because I don't want to destroy you And make you cold and hard like me. So let's not make a big deal out of this.
