Nostalgic

Never can dreaded oppressive oblivion
Order the blotting out of parents’ legacy poured into
Soul and heart of mine with memories so precious
Testifying faithful fellowship, forever triumphant
Affirming love, affectionately prevalent amidst nostalgia
Lingering in family bonds, beyond the temporal
Glowing against departure toward eternity --- bringing
Influence upon goodness’ impact, smiting “missing you” ennui
Cheering by God’s grace* along home-sweet-home lyric.

*Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
