Nostalgia

In days gone by when
Scented gardens beacon
Sweet roses’ smile with wild charm
And apples tease taste buds
Salivating optic glands
Kids joined hands in unity
With hungry hearts
Yearning with delightful glee
For things to come

Remembrance lends strength
To hope for future days
Of wild play and frolic
In new beginnings
Filled with promise
Of fruitful landscape
And pleasure roaming fields
Saturated with raindrop earth
Faithfully recycling life’s
Unpredictable twist
Everything must take its turn
To wait and watch
Fully baked and seasoned in time.

A glint of hope
And glimmer still
Peeps beyond the veil
Of unknown world
That parallels the
Here and now in
Subtle transition
Yet to come

How can it be no one got to enjoy this beauty. It's going in my blog on APPLES today! and into my fav's (don't be discouraged few read free verse, fewer still comment on it, it seems to be a rhyme focused sight) I love free verse and write alot! Hope this helps you get more readers. Light & Love
